Today, Monday we’re looking at a little bit of a breather for the weather with mostly cloudy skies expected with occasional snow showers at times. This now puts us at 654” for the season, which officially breaks the record snowfall total of 643” from the 2010/11 Season. So not bad as we got another 18” at the summit and 9” at the base from the past 24 hours. Temperatures cooled a bit into the evening with another 6” falling at the summit overnight and 3” at the base. The snowfall continued yesterday with the snowline down below our base area around the 5,500 - 6,000 ft elevation, delivering 12” at the summit and 6” at the base during the day on Sunday. A little more on the specifics below.Ĭurrent temperatures this morning are 29 degrees at our summit and 30 degrees in our base area. We’ve got a little lull in the weather today, but for Tuesday, with the significant precipitation expected combined with warmer temperatures, Dodge Ridge has made the tough decision to close operations temporarily on Tuesday, March 14 with a plan to reopen for skiing and boarding on Wednesday, March 15.
